Emotional Healing Retreat · Morjim, North Goa
Emotional Healing Retreat in Goa.

Recognition → Awareness → Exploration
Some patterns are understood.
Others are experienced.
Why 10 Nights?
Inner work needs
more than a weekend.
The programme is progressive: practices are introduced, experienced and revisited across the residential journey rather than compressed into a short workshop.
Ten nights also leave room for the quieter parts of the process — meals, rest, reflection, conversations and time between sessions.

A retreat for people willing
to meet themselves differently.

FAQ
Before you decide
What is the Emotional Healing Retreat at Oceanic Yoga?
It is a 10-night residential self-exploration programme combining somatic yoga and movement, meditation, breathwork, Yoga Nidra, sound, Family Constellation, inner-child exploration, talks and selected mantra and kriya practices.
Which practices are included in the retreat?
The published programme includes Somatic Yoga and movement, breathwork, guided meditation, Yoga Nidra, Family Constellation, inner-child exploration, sound healing, selected mantra and kriya practices, talks and one special massage. Exact scheduling can vary by batch.
How long is the retreat?
The currently published format is 10 nights and 11 days.
What is somatic yoga in this retreat?
Within Oceanic’s programme, Somatic Yoga and somatic movement are body-based experiential practices used alongside meditation and breath-based work.
Is the daily schedule fixed?
No. Oceanic publishes a sample schedule and states that exact timings and practices can change from batch to batch.
How is this different from Oceanic’s general Yoga Retreat?
The general Yoga Retreat centres on a broader residential yoga-and-meditation experience. This 10-night programme is specifically structured around emotional self-exploration and includes somatic, relational and guided inner-work practices.
Do I need previous yoga experience?
No previous yoga qualification is listed as a requirement. The programme is taught in English and participants should be willing to engage with its practices.
Is this retreat psychotherapy or medical treatment?
No. This is an experiential yoga, meditation, somatic and self-exploration retreat. It is not psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, diagnosis or medical care and should not be used as a substitute for professional treatment when that is needed.
Can difficult emotions come up during the retreat?
The published programme explicitly notes that some sessions may involve revisiting difficult personal material and require commitment from participants. Consider your readiness carefully before applying.
What language is the retreat taught in?
English is the main teaching language. The existing programme notes that even basic English can be sufficient for practice sessions, with instructors assisting where possible.
Is this a Yoga Alliance certification course?
No. This page describes a retreat, not a Yoga Alliance teacher-training certification. Oceanic Yoga’s Yoga Alliance registration relates to its registered teacher-training school and qualifying training programmes.
Who should speak with the team before applying?
If you are unsure whether an intensive experiential retreat is appropriate for you, or you currently need clinical mental-health or medical support, contact the team before booking and seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional where relevant.
Is accommodation included?
Yes. Residential accommodation is included according to the room category selected.
Which room options are shown?
The currently published retreat offers AC Twin Share and AC Private accommodation. Availability should be confirmed when booking.
Are meals included?
Yes. The published package includes three vegetarian meals on regular programme days.
Can vegan food be requested?
Yes. Oceanic states that vegan food is available on request.
What happens on Sundays?
Sundays are holidays. Regular programme activities pause and breakfast is the only meal served on campus.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes. Wi-Fi is available across campus.
Is laundry available?
Yes. Oceanic’s pre-arrival guide states that a self-service washing machine is available at no additional charge.
Is there a swimming pool?
Yes. The Oceanic campus has a swimming pool, available during appropriate free hours.
How far is Morjim Beach?
Oceanic describes the campus as approximately ten minutes from Morjim Beach.
Is my place confirmed as soon as I apply?
No. Because this retreat involves experiential inner work, we first have a short personal conversation with each applicant. A place is confirmed after that conversation, when there is mutual clarity about the programme and participation.
Which airport should I fly to?
Both Manohar International Airport (GOX/Mopa) and Goa International Airport (GOI/Dabolim) are suitable for reaching Oceanic Yoga.
Is airport transfer included for free?
No. Oceanic can arrange airport pickup from either Goa airport at an additional charge. The exact current taxi charge should be confirmed when arranging the transfer.
What is the normal arrival time?
Oceanic’s current pre-arrival guide gives a standard arrival window of 2:00 PM–6:00 PM. If your flight requires another time, contact the team in advance.
How much is the booking amount?
The currently published retreat requires a €400 non-refundable but transferable booking fee after acceptance. It is adjusted against the total programme fee.
When is the remaining balance due?
The current programme states that the remaining balance is due on or before arrival. Payment methods and any applicable transaction charges should be checked with the team.
What should I bring?
Oceanic’s pre-arrival guide recommends comfortable yoga clothes, toiletries, swimwear, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, sunglasses or a hat, a reusable water bottle, personal medication and other personal necessities.
Do international guests need a visa?
International guests should ensure they have the appropriate valid passport and Indian visa before travelling and verify current requirements with official Indian authorities.
