Same Certification → Less Time Away

You don’t have to choose
between your life and this training.

Working professionals, parents and people with limited leave often want the full 200-hour depth without 23 consecutive days away from home. The Hybrid format was built for exactly that — study the theory on your own schedule, then travel to Goa for the practical residency.
You’re working full time.
Study online in evenings and weekends over several months, then use around two weeks of leave for Goa.
You have family or travel constraints.
An 11-day residency is a far easier commitment to plan around than 23 consecutive days.
You want to test the path first.
Begin the theory online before committing your leave and travel to the in-person portion.

Why Hybrid?

200

The full 200-hour curriculum.
A format that fits your life.

Hybrid isn’t a shortened version of the 200-hour training — it’s the same curriculum and the same Yoga Alliance RYS 200 certification, split across two phases so the time away from home is only 11 days instead of 23.

Extend if you want to. Students can choose to stay longer at the Goa campus and continue in person, for an additional charge.

Two phases.
One certification.

Phase 1 · Online

Study at your own pace.

Pre-recorded video modules plus pre-scheduled live sessions cover the theory: yoga philosophy and Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, anatomy and physiology, and teaching methodology fundamentals. Study on evenings, weekends or whenever suits you — there is no fixed daily schedule for this phase.
Phase 2 · Goa Residency

Complete it in person.

11 days and 10 nights at the Oceanic Yoga campus in Morjim for the embodied side of the training: Hatha and Ashtanga asana practice, adjustments and alignment, and your assessed teaching practicum. Sound Healing sessions are included as a bonus experience.

Built for people with
a life to plan around.

FAQ

Before you decide

Questions about the hybrid format, the curriculum, certification, Goa and booking.
What is a Hybrid 200-hour yoga teacher training?

It combines self-paced online study — philosophy, anatomy and teaching theory through pre-recorded videos and live sessions — with an 11-day, 10-night residential stay in Goa for asana practice, adjustments and assessed teaching. Graduates receive the same Yoga Alliance RYS 200 certification as fully residential students.

Why choose Hybrid instead of the fully residential 200-hour course?

The Hybrid format suits students with work, family or travel commitments who cannot take 23 consecutive days away. It reduces time away from home to 11 days while covering the same curriculum and certification.

How does the Hybrid format actually work?

Philosophy, anatomy and teaching theory are taught online through pre-recorded videos and live sessions. You then spend 11 days and 10 nights at the Goa ashram for asana practice, adjustments and assessed teaching.

Can I complete this while working full time?

Yes. Most students study online during evenings and weekends over several months, then use around two weeks of leave for the residential portion in Goa. Nothing about the certification is reduced for taking the hybrid route.

Is the online portion self-paced?

Yes. Video modules can be studied at your own pace, supplemented by pre-scheduled live sessions you can plan around.

Can I extend my stay in Goa?

Yes. Students can choose to stay longer at the campus and continue elements of the course in person, for an additional charge.

Do I need previous teaching experience?

No. Previous teaching experience is not required. Teaching skills are developed progressively through methodology, observation and practical teaching during the Goa residency.

How long is the Goa residency?

11 days and 10 nights at the Oceanic Yoga campus in Morjim, North Goa, covering asana practice, adjustments and alignment, and assessed teaching practicum.

Do I receive the same certification as the residential course?

Yes. Graduates receive the 200-hour Oceanic Yoga Certificate, complimentary lifetime RYT 200 membership with the International Yoga Association, and the option to separately register as an RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance.

Is Sound Healing part of the Hybrid curriculum?

Sound Healing sessions are included as a bonus experience during the Goa residency. They are not a separate certification component of the Hybrid 200-hour training.

What is taught online versus in Goa?

Yoga philosophy, anatomy and physiology, and teaching methodology are studied online. Hatha and Ashtanga asana practice, adjustments and alignment, and the assessed teaching practicum happen during the Goa residency.

What is included in the residential package?

Accommodation for 11 days and 10 nights, three vegetarian meals a day, study materials, a course manual, yoga mat and props for use, certification, swimming pool access and Wi-Fi. Airport transfer from Goa Dabolim or Mopa airport is available for an additional USD 30.

How much does the Hybrid 200-hour YTTC cost?

For published October 2026 to May 2027 cohorts: AC triple share is €899, AC twin share is €1,177 and an AC private room is €1,397 per person for the 11-day, 10-night residency.

Is there a non-residential option?

Yes. A course-only package without accommodation is available at €1,100, including breakfast Monday to Saturday, the course manual and certification.

How much is the booking amount?

After acceptance, a €400 non-refundable but transferable booking amount confirms your place and is adjusted against the total course fee.

When is the balance due?

The remaining balance is payable on or before arrival at the Goa campus, by cash, card or online transfer. Card payments carry a transaction charge.
